This is my local branch bank, I find the customer service always great and I barely have to wait in a line at all. The processes are always very smooth and fast and staff are always attentive. I have an issue with the decor, although a very small issue that doesn't affect the bank stuff, I'd like a refurbished branch store as it is very old fashioned and its design is very poor.

I went in with a frown and came out with a smile.Anyone got a problem with going to the dentist then this is the dentist for you.
Very pleased with the overall experience when visiting Andrew Browns. Very professional and efficient care from him, his nurse and all the team, the practice is top notch with its standards of cleanliness and its equipment. Having moved around a lot and visited many dentists in the past I can highly recommend this practice. keep up the good work!

They fixed my iPad mini screen and despite a previous poor repair the year before in France the team went the extra mile and overcame an underlying issue. Really good experience!
I ordered some flyers and collected today (I'm local). I'm over the moon with them, great friendly service, nice to support a fellow local business

Absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere, appeals to everyone. Food was brilliant. Prices incredibly reasonable. Delicious wine. The host was fantastic, remembered my grandma from a previous visit. Staff were on the ball and fab. Will definitely visit again next time we are down in Tavistock :-)
Enjoyed a really flavoursome pizza with a fresh side salad. Great taste, friendly helpful staff.

What a great school. My two kids attended this school and we couldn't have been happier with it. They always loved the place, felt part of the community, and they emerged well balanced, happy kids with a solid educational foundation. The negative review from fernie just doesn't sit with my experience. I certainly didn't see the head and the governors wandering around the playground looking for parents to ostracise. We paid for extra tuition, but only for the 11 plus exam and not cos the school was failing to deliver its core teaching. Our kids entered secondary school well prepared and absolutely up to speed with their contemporaries. I would recommend this school to anyone, and frequently do. Just go and have a look, and then find better if you can!
I have two children at this school - I have always found the staff and head approachable and have always done there best to deal with any queries or concerns. Both my children are very happy at the school. I appreciate that at times issues arise and the outcome does not always meet the parents expectations but that does not make it a bad school. The children generally leave Whitchurch, happy, well rounded and with above average grades. The opportunities within Whitchurch make them confident children with good self-esteem. There are many opportunies included sports, drama, cookery clubs, community events and a major asset to the school the fantastic music teacher. I feel all schools have negatives but without a shawdow of a doubt Whitchurch Primary is a positive for the local community of Tavistock. Keep up the good work.
Mount Kelly (Prep), Mount Tavy Road, Tavistock PL19 9JL, UK – 01822 612244
This school has a well deserved reputation for an excellent education from Kindergarten to Year 8. The school day runs from 8.10 until 16.30 with loads of after school clubs which run through until 17.30. The grounds are simply stunning. Class sizes are never more than 20 and the care for students is excellent. Sport facilities are superb and since the merger with the senior school, the College has gone from strength to strength.
An amazing school

An excellent school in wonderful surroundings. The range of activities available yo students is what makes this school so special. Now with a 50 metre swimming pool and incredible sports facilities. The school merged with Mount House Prep school to become Mount Kelly formerly known as Kelly College. I don't think there are more beautiful school settings than the two sites both also located on the the edge of Dartmoor. Apparently the school was a close second for the Harry Potter film setting. Very good value for what is an outstanding school.

Wonderful place. Beautifully decorated, great location, lovely views and warm welcome. Still retains lots if features from the original station.
These cottages have the most lovely views of Dartmoor, but they are also very handy for Tavistock town centre, which has some great little independent shops. I thought they were further out than they are, looking at the map before visiting but they are just up the hill, just out of the way enough that they are nice and peaceful. They are rather beautifully fitted out too. Re: the other review about railways: this is actually Tavistock North station - if you look at the proposed re-opening of the Plymouth line, if that happens, it will go in at the other end of the town!
